Thinking Of You

Here is the card that I created for the 2 Sisters Thinking Of You theme.

Thirteen years ago Stacy one of the co owners of the 2 Sisters Challenge blog and my daughter was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and two years ago this coming February 6th she had a bone marrow transplant and had to be away from home for a month.  What we would like to do for this challenge is to collect cards for the patients at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston MA (this is where she had her bone marrow transplant).

To enter this challenge we are asking you to create a card that has a theme of THINKING OF YOU.  You can also use HELLO, JUST FOR YOU, & JUST A NOTE as sentiments on your cards.  We are asking that you refrain from using the sentiment of get well.  Once you have your card(s) made and posted to the challenge we are asking that you write an encouraging note in the card and address the envelope to "ANY PATIENT" and then place the card(s) in a package addressed to Stacy at

STACY WALKER
15 WILLOW WAY
SWANVILLE, MAINE O4915
USA

When your package is on its way to Stacy please e-mail her at twosisterschallengeblog@live.com to let her know so that she can keep an eye out for it.

Once she has collected the cards she will deliver them to the volunteers at the Brigham & Women's Hospital on January 30th (her next visit) to be handed out to patients in their transplant wards. It is our hope that when the patients receive these beautiful handmade cards and read the notes of encouragement it will brighten their day a little.

This week there will be a prize package for the winner of the challenge.  There will be a list of prize items posted on the 2 Sisters Challenge Blog.  Here is what we are asking you to do...

1. Create a card that has a theme of THINKING OF YOU, HELLO, JUST A NOTE. or JUST FOR YOU (please refrain from using "get well")

2. Write an encouraging note in the card and address the envelope to "ANY PATIENT"

3. Place the card(s) in a package addressed to me (at the address above)

4. E-mail me at twosisterschallengeblog@live.com to let me know that the package is on its way.

Hi there

I am thrilled you have joined in my "Free and Easy" theme at Allsorts this fortnight and confess to being astounded by the huge response - almost 600 so far !

I usually like to visit every entry and say a few words about their creations, but the sheer volume so far along with the holiday preparations we all have to juggle means this is a "copied and pasted" message, for which I apologise.

Wishing you a very Happy New Year.

B x

Have you entered my new candy
